Opossums are typically found under decks, under sheds, in trash cans, in garages, or on occasion in someone's attic. One of the easiest animals to trap is the opossum. They pretty much go after any type of bait in the trap. The best way to get rid of opossums is by trapping and relocating of unwanted opossums from your property or attic.

Skunk removal and control are necessary due to their awful smell and the damage they cause to your lawn by digging up the grubs. They are also one of the leading wild animals to have rabies in Michigan. Trapping and relocation is the best way to get rid of skunks from your Michigan home. This will take special skunk traps or blankets over the trap.

Birds damage attics, eaves, homes, and chimneys. Bird control and removal are done through exclusions, trapping, and prevention. Chimney caps, caulking, vent covers, vent screens, and flashing are all ways to remove and prevent the entry of birds. Groundhog Removal

Muskrat Removal
Muskrats live in lakes and ponds. They can cause damage to banks, retaining walls, and sink docs. Muskrats generally colonize so more than one will typically be present. We typically have to use colony traps in order to remove the entire nest. Muskrats are trapped, removed and relocated. Muskrat trapping may continue for a month at a time.

Squirrel control is one of the calls we get the most because of their nuisance to homeowners. Like other rodents, squirrels are responsible for 25%-30% of all house fires. They also do damage to the insulation and attic. Their droppings can contain the hantavirus. Trapping and sealing up entry points is the best way to control squirrels.
During our exclusion seasons or other busy times, Michigan Wildlife Solutions reserves the right to not take on any animal trapping jobs. Like most companies these days we are short on staff. It takes a dedicated full-time animal trapper to remove many nuisance wildlife from homes and properties. Wildlife Life does not operate on a 9-5 schedule during the week. We have to have someone available 7 days a week in order to provide the best and most humane services possible We also must adhere to strict laws and guidelines provided by the DNR.
